Rox Academy

Ever since the early days, a 'Centre of Excellence' has always been a long-term goal for Rox.

The positive impact that the experience of the performing arts has on young people is undeniable. Many bands and individuals have enjoyed progressing through the regular workshops and even more have stepped out on to the Festival stage in front of thousands of people to show off their talents.

The Rox Academy will develop into a venue where young people can have access to musical instruments, rehearsal rooms, recording studios and performance areas. It will also provide an environment where they can just 'drop in' and share experiences with their friends or learn from their peers in an atmosphere designed for their well-being and individual advancement, both as musicians/performers and as confident, 'community aware' young people.
